Unique, quirky, affectionate Frenchies – who wouldn’t want one!
Frenchies are an idiosyncratic breed of dog. They are affectionate, quirky and have a unique personality unmatched by other breeds. Their compact stature and strong construction make them a big dog in a small package.
What drives us to breed Frenchies?
Perreux has been breeding Frenchies for nearly 20 years and is committed to working with other breeders to improve the overall outcomes for the breed.
Our breeding program’s primary aim is to produce outstanding Frenchies that are judged by our peers as leading examples of the breed. We only ever have one or two litters a year and our girls tend to have small numbers. While we do not breed to produce pets, not every pup is bound to challenge for Best in Show at the Royal and are available to the right homes.
Our reputation means the limited number of pups available are in high demand. We don’t ever advertise and prefer personal referral. We do have a waiting list and if you would like to register your interest please email Michael at frenchies@perreux.com and we can keep you in mind for our next litter.
To ensure our prospective family know all the best care and nurturing techniques we like to work with new owners from the moment the litter is born. We also encourage new families to visit the newborns regularly, be involved with the litter’s raising and witness important milestones like them opening their eyes and seeing their trademark bat ears pop up.
We also acknowledge that single people and families of diverse makeups (just like ours) make fantastic homes and approach every “family” from an entirely non-discriminatory viewpoint.
Should you be selected for a pup, you can expect that we will take time to make sure a Frenchie is a good fit for your home and help you understand their unique needs. The ongoing love, nourishment, and care of Perreux Frenchies is vitally important to us and that commitment continues for the life of your Frenchie. Our support extends to advice, referral help and access to our knowledge bank through to providing temporary or permanent foster care should you have a crisis.
